The new gate is not a fence or a ticket office, or an arch of triumph.
The intervention for Järfälla’s Public Park is aimed at responding both objectives, one is to give a new life to the park, and other is to continue to serve people as an oasis of the city.
“In the light” becomes a silhouette that has been lit by shafts of lights onto the “Jakobsbergs kvarn”, it will remain as a new landmark of the park and the city.

スウェーデン首都郊外にある公園内にゲートをつくるコンペ作品。

新たなゲートは、フェンスやチケットオフィス、または勝利のアーチのようなものではなく、公園に新たな命を与えるためであり、都市のオアシスとして人々に奉仕し続けることを目的と考える。

昔この地域の象徴であったJakobsbergsの風車の記憶をこの「In the light」で演出。昼は、シャフトから陽の光が入り、夜はシャフトの照明が光を注ぐ。
シャフトに照らされたシルエットが風車となり、公園と街の新しいランドマークとしてよみがえる。
